This Rufous Hummingbird greeting card measures 5.5"x4.25", is printed in my home studio on 100% recycled card stock paper, and is paired with a 100% recycled soft brown envelope. Inside is blank. Cards can either be purchased packaging-free, or individually packaged in clear plant-based PLA "plastic" open-ended sleeves for protection while on display. The back reads: Rufous hummingbirds are one of four hummingbird species that spend time in the Pacific Northwest each spring and summer to breed. Fiercely territorial, you'll often see their little orange bodies zipping around as they chase each other and even larger hummingbirds off of food sources. This hummingbird makes one of the longest migratory journeys for its size—up to 3,900 miles each way!
