DESCRIPTION Ever feel like you're pulled in more than one direction? Or that you straddle two or more worlds, with pressures to act or think differently in one than the other? That's a normal feeling, friend — but that doesn't always make it any easier. The ghost town of Glenrio is situated directly on the border of West Texas and New Mexico. In the early 1900s, it was a thriving place of commerce, with several railroad lines passing through. Bars on the New Mexico side (Texas being a dry state at the time), and gas stations on the east side (due to Texas' lower oil prices). To sum it up, the town became party on one side of the line, business on the other. And so it remained, until the railroad pulled out in the 50s and the town slowly died.
