In Andean tradition, blue stones were associated with the heavens and Inca solar deities. Traditional properties Angelite is traditionally associated with communication and authentic expression. The stone Angelite is a variety of anhydrite (CaSO4), calcium sulfate, orthorhombic system, hardness 3.5 on the Mohs scale. Its blue-lilac color is due to traces of titanium.
