Designed and produced in our Rhode Island studio, each handcrafted bowl is functional and beautiful, working effortlessly as a centerpiece, catchall, or styled accent on a coffee table, console, or dining surface. ***A Note About Color & Finish*** Each bowl is individually hand-cast and marbled, which means no two will ever be exactly alike. The base tone is intentionally organic rather than a stark, bright white. Depending on how the natural marbling develops during curing, the background may cure as a soft Tuscan yellow, off-white or warm cream instead of a pure white. We've included several photos of bowls created using the same process. As you can see, the curing process is organic and unique to each bowl. This is not a flaw — it is part of the handmade process and what gives each piece its one-of-a-kind character. The variation is what makes the marbling depth and movement visible, rather than looking flat or manufactured. If you appreciate the natural variation and the uniqueness of handcrafted materials, you’ll love how each piece comes out differently. Made from non-toxic acrylic and resin, this bowl may be used to hold food when a barrier is placed inside, between the food and the bowl, such as a tea towel, cloth napkin or parchment paper. When lined, it is suitable for bread or rolls, whole fruit, crackers, wrapped foods, dry snacks, chocolates, etc. This bowl is not food safe for direct food contact. Hand wash. Do not wash in the dishwasher or use in a microwave. Bowl measures approx. 6" diameter x 1.88" tall. Handcrafted in my studio in Rhode Island, USA.
