Wholesale June (detail), a green chinoiserie print on paper

My original chinoiserie painting is reproduced as a fine art print on quality paper. Bluebirds fly around a blooming peony bush, while a blue and white planter of flowers sits nearby. "Chinoiserie" is a French word for Chinese art that was produced for a western market—and it just so happens to combine the two sides of my own heritage! I learned traditional Chinese painting on rice paper while in my teens, and now I adapt that technique with textural acrylic paint and modern color schemes for a style that is all my own.
