Description
Inspired by the Adinkra symbol <i>Sankofa,</i> which means "return and get it," this pair of sculptures is hand-carved of Ghanaian sese wood, depicting two birds that stretch their necks to reach over their backs. One bird has an egg in its mouth and the other has a closed beak. Abdul Aziz Mohamadu designs this pair of sculptures, elaborating each bird with multicolored paints and vibrant, recycled glass beads.

I really love everything that I ordered, but sent almost all of it back. The prices on their website are just above wholesale and there is no way to mark items up high enough to make any kind of profit. I may order again if their website prices are more in line.
