Wholesale Monarch Butterfly, Endangered Animal Series - 8x10 Art Print

Joy is its own kind of resistance. That is what my new Survival Series is about. This artwork features the Monarch Butterfly framed by Phalaenopsis Micholitzii. The anthropomorphic butterfly holds a sign that reads, "Be weird. What people think about you is none of your business." Each animal and plant depicted is an endangered species, and the subjects were inspired by queer people who have been lost to violence. The animals hold up signs with messages meant to speak to our difficult cultural moment while providing hope for a way to live with mindfulness in the face of our difficult circumstances.
