Stakes are coated in waterproof sealant for durability. We strive to be as eco-friendly as possible, so these stakes are not individually packaged. Many of our retailers prefer to display them in small pots in their stores. the plastic test tubes that are threaded for a lid and the particle board cut outs were not a good fit for my store. I kept them with a large discount and will clearance out for a quick sell. Great idea but real wood and glass tubes not meant for a lid would look so much better.
