the material is very stiff and sticks out like a broom. it flares out at the hip-the widest part of a womans curves and makes the hips look very poufy. it is not flattering unless a person is stick thin. we are sad. we so wanted a neutral linen skirt to go with everything. But the style is short in length and widens at hips. The mateiral feels like drapery fabric instead of softer linen for garments.
