This duffle coat is by far one of my favorite styles to make and probably the most worn in the families I've had the honor of knowing who have received one. In fact, I have one family where 3 boys in a row wore this style of coat as a hand me down from brother to brother! (If you know boys that says something about quality!) 100% handmade by me, in Michigan! This is the coat they'll want to live in, it's that cozy! An oversized, soft style that will fit for many seasons. Plenty of room to grow into an oversized fit and cuffed sleeves. This coat is a 100% cotton exterior, with an anti-pill fleece interior lining. There are sweet star snaps up the front. Why snaps? Have you had a toddler in the "I DO IT MYSELF," phase? Well, I have, and many of our wardrobe casualties during this period of growth were poor, helpless, buttons. A giant toddler head can bust into this jacket and the snaps will release, preventing rips and creating one proud little person! My fabric selections are a fun mix of this particular pattern, which allows for a unique outcome every time. Due to pattern variations and differences in size your item may not look exactly like the one photographed. I am a small batch, single person shop. Meaning I buy enough fabric to make a few of each item and then I move onward. Consider this limited edition, also this fabric is from a past collection, no longer in print, so that gives it bonus cool points! Care Instructions: Wash in cold water with like colors, hang our lay flat to dry. Steam or iron as needed.
