Cucunci di Salina Dop are always to be desalted under a jet of water before use.

Love the stuff we got, despite an item not being what we ordered, it was the run-around we got while ordering that put us off. Marked order as "shipped" but messaged to to say was going to be a month delay while they waiting to get product in stock, offered a replacement that WAS in stock for quicker ship in 3-5 days. 3 weeks later we reach out again because wouldn't track, were told replacement item waiting to be back in stock. Shipping was 120% cost of products, 5 weeks after order date.
