Huila Excelso is a normally roasted Arabica from Huila, Colombia. It is rich, full-bodied, moderately sour (does not contain nuts) and is great as pure black coffee, but also very good with hot milk. Colombia has a tradition of classifying and exporting coffee according to the size of the coffee beans. Excelso and Supremo, in short, are smaller and larger beans and it is in our nature to think that the biggest is best, it is still not always the case and a good Excelso can perform as well in the cup as a good Supremo.
