Each print is hand printed with ink and signed in pencil on paper, approx. 26 x 19 inches. Dates printed and some details may vary somewhat. J. Borges (1936-2024) has been featured in several museum shows in the US, Europe, and Brazil. One of the most loved folk artists in Brazil, his widely recognized work features typical, humorous scenes, and folk tales from his home area of North East Brazil. We have very limited quantities of each print, sometimes available in Multicolor or Black on White Ink printings. Being a true folk artist he never numbered, or limited his prints. These are beautiful pieces of original folk art produced in rural Brazil with small variations and often minor imperfections. None are mass produced, please expect, and tolerate, some imperfections. Prints will be shipped in plastic sleeves rolled together in a single shipping tube.
