Many of these cameos have been tucked away for more than thirty years, making them increasingly difficult to find. As this vintage collection is used, these original cameos will never be manufactured again. Because every necklace is assembled from authentic vintage warehouse finds, no two are exactly alike. If one of the cameos shown has already found a new home, I'll carefully choose another that matches the same color palette, style and overall feel while preserving the character of the design. I love working with vintage cameos because they connect us to centuries of jewelry making. From hand-carved shell cameos to beautifully detailed mid-century acrylic designs, each piece carries a little history. Giving these forgotten treasures a new life is one of my favorite parts of creating jewelry. Every necklace is assembled by hand with vintage components and finished with a large USA-made brass lobster clasp that adjusts up to approximately 23 inches for a comfortable fit.
