This candle was originally molded from a piece of Blow Horn from the Farm at Doe Run. The farm has been making award winning farmstead cheeses from the rolling hills of Chester County, Pennsylvania for many years. We are friends with Sam Kennedy, the head cheesemaker who developed this recipe around 2015. The intricate texture of this bloomy aged lactic is captured in the golden glow of pure beeswax. Beeswax from Chester County hives! Beeswax naturally burns cleaner, brighter, hotter, and longer than most choices and does not require chemical processing or additives to enhance these properties. With an inherently pleasant but gentle aroma, beeswax is the perfect choice for the eco-conscious home. Burns for about 50 Hours. 3.5” Wide, 2” Tall

These candles are GORGEOUS -- striking, conversation-starters with customers, useful for a variety of displays, and very low waste. While the price point is high, they are by far my most admired/appreciated candles by customers. Reordering now for the holidays -- my order of 36 items in September is almost all sold out. The most popular: garlic bulbs, asparagus, cheese wedge, carrot -- but they look GREAT. (I haven't burned any yet because they're soooo pretty.) GREAT and useful gift item.
