Footers are a beautiful and functional way to add pattern and warmth (literally) to the bottom of the bed. It uses less fabric that a full duvet cover, so it's a less expensive alternative to to a custom patterned duvet cover. We use a solid fabric on the bottom and finish them with self welt. We can upgrade to contrasting cord and a tape on the seams for an added design detail. Our footers are similar to a hotel footer, but softer and a little thicker, with a layer of batting sewn inside. We use a solid fabric on the bottom and finish them with self welt. They finish about 24" "tall" and normally hang down about 12" on each side of the bed. There is about 1" of batting in the interior. Pattern placement not guaranteed outside of a custom order.
