The flat Aroeira is what you wear when the evening is long and you still want to walk home. Silver metallic leather, a square open toe, two narrow straps across the instep set with rectangular clear crystals edged by a fine line of smaller stones, and a matching crystal ankle strap closed with a small buckle. Underneath, a 1.5cm stacked heel, just enough to lift the foot off the ground. The upper is genuine leather from a Leather Working Group certified tannery. Every crystal sits in its own metal setting, hand applied along each strap, so the sparkle holds its line instead of scattering. This is an occasion sandal without the price of standing still in it. How to wear it • Under a long silk or linen dress, the straps catching the light as you move. • With cropped wide trousers in cream or stone, ankle bare. • With navy or black, when you want the shine cooler than gold. Size & fit — please read before ordering Made on the same French last, cut slim and precise. If your feet are slim to average, order your usual size. If they are wider, we would suggest sizing up. The footbed is cut exactly to the foot, so the heel sits right at the back edge with no sole showing behind it. The buckled ankle strap adjusts, but the two instep straps are fixed in width, which is where a wider foot will feel it first. Not sure which size to take?
