Wholesale CELEBRATION CARD: Cute Bird - Wish Upon Illustration

On a beautiful Spring day in 2022, a nest was dislodged from the roof of my house and a baby starling bounced off to land literally at my feet… a sign that told me in no uncertain terms that it needed help. With the assistance of the internet, my daughter’s knowledge of chicken-rearing and the local feed store, I whipped up some food, wrapped up a hot water bottle with a towel, and put the little guy in a box. And then I hoped for the best. I had embarked on the most extraordinary journey of learning, and over the next four months I grew to understand, care for, and bond with a wild bird – until the call of the wild called him home. These images are linocuts’, based based upon photographs I took in the last few days we shared together. It became my way of working through how much I will always miss him. My mandate is to create cards with happy thoughts and images, that are as unique and individual as your customers are. This cute bird card is 6.50” H x 4.25” W, printed on 100lb stock with satin finish, and comes individually wrapped with its own colourful envelope. All cards are blank inside.
