Wild Orcas Wild orcas are most abundant in colder waters like Antarctica, Alaska, and Norway but are also found in tropical and subtropical waters. The endangered Southern Resident orcas are found in the eastern North Pacific Ocean. Southern Resident orcas stay with their families for life.
