When pulled on the front loop of a martingale style collar snugly closes around your pup's neck. This spreads the pressure from pulling over the entire area of the collar, instead of pressing just on the front of their throat. It also keeps your pup secure from being able to slip out of the collar by pulling backwards. We fold braid each collar by hand! The fold braid is done by making cuts down the center and folding the ends through. This means there are no separate strands that would come loose while your pup was playing or running! *Sizing: For the best fit, I recommend measuring around the middle of your pup's neck! If they're super wiggly, you can wrap a string around their neck and then measure the string on a flat surface. Medium: 13 - 16 in. Large: 16 - 19 in. X-large: 19 - 22 in. 2X-large: 22 - 25 in. 3X-large: 25 - 28 in. We know every pup is unique!
