American Alligators range from Texas to Florida, and as far north as Oklahoma in the southern United States. Fully grown, an adult male Alligator can be 15 feet long and weight 1000 pounds. While Alligators do live throughout the wetlands of the southeastern United States, there is also a species that lives in China.
