Scarlet Macaw (& Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot) Textured Italian Art card, printed in the UK. Blank inside DL size (equiv. to A4 folded into 3) & white envelope. About the Artwork Scarlet macaws and blue fronted Amazon parrots sit amongst stylised leaves and grape vines. The natural world was De Morgan’s inspiration, structured in repeating patterns and geometry, his anthropomorphic wildlife depicted as a moment in time. Affectionately known as his ‘Parrot Tile Panel’, produced in the new Sands End factory. With its larger kilns, it enabled larger artworks to be produced such as the commissioned tile interiors to adorn the dining rooms and smoking rooms of their luxury cruise client, Peninsular & Oriental (P&O).
