Original oil painting on wood block. Each painting in this series features a small house with a wildflower pattern on one side of the house and a wave pattern on the other, a grey roof with a scalloped detail, colorful smoke coming from a red chimney on a white background. Every painting is a completely handmade, unique, original piece of art. All houses feature a somewhat abstract floral pattern, painted with splashes of reds, pinks, oranges, and yellows with little green stems and leaves on a white back ground. Some also feature some blue and purple flowers. The ocean side is a turquoise blue with a white wave pattern. Each house has a small red chimney with colorful smoke coming out of it - the smoke is generally shades of blue, pink, or purple with dot, floral, or leaf patterns. The white background is painted in multiple layers with a wash of color underneath so some whites will lean more pink, some more blue, and all will have a nice rich texture. I make each block myself so there is a slight variation in size but all are 3.5 wide, the height varies from about 5.25 to 5.75 inches. Painted on .75 inch thick wood block with stained edges. Ready to hang or display standing. Signed, dated, and titled on the back. You will receive one painting - it may or not be one of the ones shown in the picture but it will be very similar to the ones shown.
