These nuts are “activated” in our facility using a soaking and low-temperature dehydrating method. By soaking the nuts, phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that may interfere with nutrient absorption are broken down. We then dehydrate our walnuts at low temperatures to preserve those enzymes, nutrients, and micro-nutrients. This also makes our nuts crispy and taste great.
