Our Mexican coffee is a washed bourbon from Cesmach's Reserve El Triunfo Cafe de Mujer, grown exclusively by women in the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, Chiapas, Mexico. Each woman manages her own plot, with average farm sizes of three hectares, and the co-op has seen a 30% increase in income for its 224 members. This coffee represents a significant step toward women’s empowerment in a traditionally machismo culture, with one producer now serving on the co-op’s board.
