Description
Highly dutched cocoa powder made from high quality West African beans with 22/24 % fat. It has a smooth chocolate flavour and a dark colour. Dutch-processed cocoa powder is treated with an alkali to neutralize its acidity. Dutch-process is not always interchangeable with natural cocoa powder because dutch-processed powder is missing the acids needed to leaven baked goods. Because of this, it is usually paired with baking powder as a leavener in baking recipes. For best results, stick with the cocoa powder specified in your recipe.Size: 450 g / 16 oz.
