Organic Bulk Cumin

"Fresh, vegetal, slightly spicy, the depth of its unique aromas, to be used on carrots, in meatballs, kefta, or many other dishes." Our cumin is organic and wild, harvested by the farmer-gatherers of the cooperative that supplies us with our caraway, fennel, and anise. It is dried on stems hung upside down, which are then beaten to extract all the seeds, followed by a meticulous sorting of seeds and branch fragments, then sun-dried. It exudes an almost minty freshness, scents of citrus and dried fresh grass. Toasting it before use will develop entirely different aromas, of fennel and slightly spicy anise. - Store in a cool, dry place away from light. - Certified organic by Ecocert FR-BIO-01 - Available in 1 and 5kg.
