Description
The scarab is the most popular good luck charm from ancient Egypt. Symbol of rebirth, transformation, and self-creation, this scarab is actually a dung beetle that the ancients believed pushed the sun across the sky each day. This large Egyptian Scarab bead is hand carved from soapstone. The scarab is glazed with symbols on the bottom. The bead size is about 48mm long by 18mm wide and 15mm tall with a 5mm hole.
