This is a children's book that tells the story of Grizzly 399 and her cub spirit. It also recounts Grizzly 399's death and how her cub, Spirit, responded. It is a difficult subject, but something we needed to tackle. It teaches children how they can deal with grief and still have hope. The back of the book has a science section with real photos and facts.
