This collection of stoles combines organic cotton, linen and jute in an original composition, suitable for the 4 seasons. Karawan Authentic has developed an ethical weaver industry in Calcutta, India. Karawan has been engaged for over 7 years with an Indian local development organization. It brings together about 200 manual looms distributed in houses in villages around Calcutta. We develop our collections with Shubha, a young Indian woman steeped in the roots and excellence of the Indian textile tradition. She knows all the stages of manufacturing and coordinates the quality of our proposals in order to maintain the tradition but also to make it evolve by adapting it to our creations. Resolutely committed to a sustainable development approach that tries to resist the mass textile industry, we are looking together for natural raw materials, respectful of man and the environment.
