This amazing line art was created in the 19th century (artist unknown) and was scanned from a German history magazine. There were actually two Viking seiges of Paris. The first was in 845 and included 120 dragon ships carrying approximately 5,000 Vikings. The second seige was even larger and happened in 886. Approx.
