With meticulous detail, illustrators John Nugent Fitch and Gertrude Hamilton brought to life orchids in the wild in The Orchid Album published in 1872. Inspired from these prints, we adapted the works into patterns that seamlessly flowed over the fabric. Using digital graphical applications, colors have been translated into jewel-tone pigmentations of petals and blooms. Here, the Brazilian orchid sub species Laelia Harpophylla vibrantly displays in paprika and papaya tones.
