The cover of these planners is a laminated piece of paper. It looks like a home made craft project. The ring used for the binder is very large and very silver. The cost is too high to justify retail price, this calendar is not high quality. I can appreciate the time that goes into making these. In my opinion - if the binding was done differently it would really help. Maybe have options for us to pick different bindings. Hope this helps.
