The estate has been run by the Santangelo family for generations. With dedication and passion, they work together on their great pride, the Nocellara Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The company was founded in 1923 by Guiseppe Santangelo. At the time, the estate had 300 olive trees and the olives were pressed with a donkey-powered stone mill. A professional pressing system was purchased in 1993 to get the very best out of the olives. But otherwise, everything in the company still exudes the passion and atmosphere of the past!
