The Laura dress in yellow is made out of rescued 100% cotton fabric. The fabric is an off cut from a Finnish furniture company and only 42cm wide, so it is perfect for the Laura Dress. It is an off cut from furniture production that we have reused. The fabric is also oeko-tex certified. Rescue fabric is also known as pre-consumer waste or post-industrial waste. It is the material left over from the production of products. The material can be cutting leftovers, roll ends, overproduction or otherwise rejected materials. What unites these waste forms is that it never ends up to the consumer and is therefore never seen by the public.
