This lamp reproduces the Pointe Percée — The 4 heads in the Aravis massif at 2750 m, based on IGN LiDAR HD topographic data. Every ridge, every cirque, every valley is in its actual place: this is not a mountain-inspired set piece, it is the mountain itself, to scale. The lamp is about 15 cm in diameter. The base is pear wood, hand-turned by L'Atelier du Mont, a turner in Le Chinaillon. The relief is printed in bioplastic made from corn starch (PLA), a plant-based material that diffuses light with a particular softness: when lit, the rock becomes translucent. Backlit by a 5 V LED, the lamp's intensity is adjustable, ranging from a dim night light to a bedside lamp. It is powered by USB — mains adapter included. Unique piece. Each lamp bears its own serial number, engraved on its label. Made in our workshop in Thônes, Haute-Savoie.
