What you have the pleasure of perusing is a real, hand-woven length of actual tartan fabric, registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans. Nice and Accurate's tartan registry file can be found here. We are proud to offer you two sett sizes (number of repetitions per inch), one 1.45'' sett that is perfect for bow ties, and a 5'' sett that's wonderful for skirts, coats, scarves, and even kilts! Our tartan is also double sided, meaning the pattern repeats as normal from either the back or the front, which is a requirement for kilts.
