Wholesale Dear White America: Letter to a New Minority

A wake up call for white Americans to recognize their privilege in society and to address the fact that while America may have been great for them in the past, it has never been great for the people of color upon whose backs this country was forcibly built upon. This book addresses the fears many white people hold regarding the fact that in a few years they will no longer compose the majority of the U.S. population. These fears stem from inherent racism and the belief that they are oppressed while people of color are "unduly privileged". Groups like the Tea Party indulge in "racialized nostalgia for a mythological past," and this racialized nostalgia appears to be winning in the wake of the Trump presidency.
