Nothing quite compares to traveling by train in India. The exotic allure, captivating sites and enchanting energy are beyond reproach. After gathering spices and teas at the local market they would brew the chai and sell weary travelers a cup as the train made its short stop at the station. We couldn't wait to see them! This is our take on a traditional Masala Chai we enjoyed somewhere between New Delhi and Punjab. Flavor Profile: Traditional Masala Chai & Cinnamon Spice Steeping Instructions: 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea 8oz of hot water at 208 degrees. Steep for 4-5 minutes and remove.
