Just as the octahedron is created by placing a pair of points above and below a square and connecting them to all the squares corners, the hyperoctahedron is created by placing a pair of points above and below the octahedron in the fourth dimension and connecting them to all the octahedron corners. In these three-dimensional earrings, those two points appear inside the octahedron. These earrings were designed in a computer using mathematical software and then brought to life using 3d printing technology. Pairs well with a hypersimplex or hypercube necklace. Our nylon jewelry is created through a laser sintering process in which the model is fused together one layer at a time from white nylon powder. The jewelry is then dyed to give it its final color. Nylon earrings feature surgical steel earwire. It can be upgraded to sterling silver earwire for an additional cost.
