How This Handmade Pearl Ring Is Made Each crescent moon pearl ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every pearl for its luster and form, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the pearl through an electrical process, forming the crescent band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade ring from this studio is one of a kind.
