Description
The Colorado city that puts the High in Mile High City, Denver, was founded on the South Platte River and incorporated in 1861. What brought Westerners to the lands of the Apaches, Cheyennes, and Comanches was that there was gold in them thar hills. With its location at the border of the Rockies and the Great Plains, Denver became the destination to assay, store, and distribute the valuable mineral. Since then, the city has grown to over 700,00 people and has seen a resurgence of its decimated downtown by embracing better parking practices. These four covers are found in the renewed downtown area, where one can traipse through Ponti’s and Libeskind’s museum complex and take a break at the Dairy Block for a sip and bite of local food. All hand-drawn and handmade in the USA from sustainable and upcycled materials.
