Did we tell you our business is based in an 1800's mill building - where textile manufacturing was born? We mention this because the flour sack towel (aka cotton tea towel) has a long history that dates back to the 1800s. They originated when flour and sugar were packaged in tightly woven cotton bags instead of wooden barrels. The bags were used for many purposes, including dish towels, curtains, aprons, and quilting. Cool, huh? We LOVE to cook and REALLY LOVE to eat ;). This towel has been tested while baking lots of homemade bread. It is 100% cotton, sized approx 20"x28" print area is limited.
