June 2025 UPDATE: due to shortages, this piece will arrive in a gold frame. I cannot find a source for the white frame right now. Pictures will be updates when the frames arrive. Daffodil is hand cut paper silhouette with 2 layers of delicate mulberry paper. The top layer is a buttery sunshine and the base layer is the palest yellow. The mulberry attaches to the silhouette at the body but the wings float freely of one another. Art Measures: 2″ x 2″ Frame Measures: 5″ x 4″ Each piece is attached to a tiny mount. The paper backing is an embossed wood grain pattern on brilliant white. The backing is a sealed foam board with attached hanging hook. They are not encased with glass. PLEASE NOTE: Every insect is cut by hand, variations may occur in the design and pattern.
