About The Red Wolf

The Red Wolf is a portuguese brand of illustration and design. The brand is a joint venture, created in 2016, by Filipe Duarte and Joana Campos Silva, who both work from their home studio, based in Oporto – Portugal. In March 2016, the first drawings appeared, essentially inspired by the female figure. The goal was just to decorate our house. We took advantage of the raw material that social networks offer us to look for stories, or rather, our interpretation of all those images. We looked for the free spirit girl who drives her bread in search of the best beach to surf; of the woman who stands out on her red wasp in the chaos of traffic, in any European city. With the illustration, we wanted to suggest the starting point for someone's story, who becomes a protagonist when they observe it. The best of these years was that we were shaped by the opinion of the people who frequently contact us, and let us know true stories that appear in an email, in a photograph and end up in a gift, a tribute, on the cover of a book, on a sweater, in a pair of socks, a bottle of wine or a glass.
