Fish Preserve. Southern Mackerel Fillets in Extra Virgin Olive Oil 80 GR. The artisanal production of mackerel preserves follows a careful process that guarantees quality and flavor, preserving its nutrients. The fish are received, beheaded, gutted, washed, and cooked in salted water. After cooling, they are peeled and packed by hand, adding extra virgin olive oil before hermetic sealing. The cans are sterilized in an autoclave, washed, and stored until shipment. The product has a grayish-white color, compact texture, and intense flavor. It is rich in omega-3, high-quality proteins, vitamin D, B-group vitamins, and minerals such as selenium and phosphorus. It provides cardiovascular, bone, and antioxidant benefits, being low in calories and saturated fats. It is versatile, ready to eat, has a long shelf life, and is easy to transport.
