Each mat 18" x 30" contains a coir front and a slip resistant back. Each doormat is either hand painted or sprayed. All mats are sprayed with a UV protection to prolong the life of the design. The paint and sealant affixes directly to each fiber in the design for long lasting results. Although our designs are durable, coir mats aren’t meant to last forever. Over time your mat will begin to shed.   Note: Coir doormats are NOT element proof. They are to be kept dry and out of direct sunlight. If doormat becomes soaked from rain or snow, the fibers will darken and the design will be dull.  We recommend that you keep your doormat in a dry, low traffic, and covered area to prolong the life of the design.
