Product story: For years, I wanted to make a beautiful beach and pool towel. I wanted real cotton — soft, absorbent, and comfortable — but not one of those giant beach towels that weighs as much as a toddler and takes forever to dry. I wanted it to be pretty, too. The only problem was that my husband refused to sit on a floral towel at the beach. So I made one towel with two sides. One side has our beautiful Hydrangea print. The other side has handsome blue stripes. It is 100% long-staple cotton, soft and absorbent, but not too thick. It packs easily, dries more easily, and looks good at the beach, by the pool, on a boat, or tossed over a lounge chair. The floral people get their pretty. The stripe people get their stripes. Everybody is happy. Honestly, it may be the most diplomatic thing I’ve ever designed.
