Description
We thank horticulturists of Brittany, France for breeding the first garden strawberry in the 18th century with a cross from our own home-bred Fragaria virgiana from, yup, the state of Virginia. It came to the U.S. from Chile in the gentle hands of trader Amédée-François Frézier in 1714. The strawberry has become a staple summer fruit with more than 1.4 million tons in the U.S., one-third of the world’s production. California is the largest producer with more than 26 million cwt or hundredweight (100 pounds.) Enjoy this ruby red marvel with anti-oxidant rich South African Rooibos and Chinese White Tea.

This tea looks great in the clear glass jars it is packaged in, with the plain paper brown labels giving it a natural look. The prices are a good value and customers realize that. We have tried some of the teas and they are excellent. The only hitch in our first order was that our first shipment was returned to the brand damaged in shipping. They sent out a replacement shipment soon after.
