Wholesale Concarneau/The Belfry

The Belfry is built on the fortifications of Concarneau although it has never really been part of it, the bulk of the construction dating from the beginning of the 20th century. In 1904, Mayor Samuel Billette de Villeroche decided to install a clock on a bell tower at the entrance of the Closed City.
